TUMISANG SHONGWE
AUTHOR
is a children's book author, a short story writer, and a literacy advocate. She was born in Gaborone, Botswana, and moved to South Africa in 2003. Her published children's stories are Naledi's New Look (2020), Shongololo (2021), Meerkat Magic (2022), and Every Day's A Story (2023). She also has a few published short stories. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Creative Writing (Languages and Literature) from UNISA, a postgraduate certificate in Editing from the University of Pretoria, and a Qualification Level 5 Diploma in Teaching English as a Foreign Language.
Tumisang lives in Centurion with her husband and two children. She works as a Copy-editor, and when she is not working, Tumisang enjoys reading, taking walks alone, playing with her children, and having meaningful conversations with people.
MFUNDO NDEVU
ILLUSTRATOR
Mfundo is an illustrator from East London. He started drawing comics and worked in the industry from 2002-2008. He currently illustrates textbooks for publishers and draws caricature portraits at events.
