CROCODILE TEARS

Jabu, the youngest of three brothers, uses humour to collect tears from the largest crocodile in the land – tears needed to break the spell cast on Princess Mbali. Along the way, he discovers that being funny can be more powerful than being strong or talented.

JACO JACOBS

AUTHOR

Jaco is a South African author who has written over 260 books for children and young adults. He has translated more than 300 children's books into Afrikaans, including works by Dr. Seuss.

Two of his teen novels were turned into films, and his work has been translated into several languages. He's won numerous awards, including 34 ATKV

Children's Book Awards (the only book award in Afrikaans where children get to vote for their favourite books).
